Mom's New Dresser

Mom's New Dresser
I am so excited how this turned out.

Just so plain in white...
So Mom picked out her colors and we added some rope trim to match her nightstand.

We matched the clear & bronze knobs.
It is going to look so awesome with her walls once they are painted a ice blue!

I am going to post some pictures of how all her new green furniture ties in with the new wall color and her blue & white bedding!

So many ways to use this piece.

Once I started the vanity set I knew I needed to make this one match.
It would look so cute in a little girls room!

Matching Antique Stool

And so the vanity needed a stool...
About a year ago I bought a set of stools at an auction for $5.
The hubby was so mad, said they were junk.
Did he forget I LOVE junk!?
Well, ha ha, I found a need for them!
Just so happens the vanity needed a stool!

Here are the pictures
(the ones I can rub in his face now, LOL)

It ended up working out perfect for the vanity

Antique Vanity

Vanity Revived
Okay, so I may mess with my Mom about all the furniture she brought me to refinish
HOWEVER,
I must confess I actually got something in return!
This vanity was originally in her room and she passed it on to my niece. Since then she has grown out of it and so it became my next project!

Here are Before & After pictures:

Mom's Nightstand #2

Mom's Nightstand #2

I wish I had "Before" pictures of this one!
This once belonged to an old friend of my mothers,
then it was passed down to my daughter and now it is heading back to Mom.
It had SEVERAL layers of paint!
Let's see...it was cream, then a light green, then my daughter painted it a dark pink.
Now.....

Both of Mom's New Nightstands:

HOPE YOU LIKE THEM MOMMA!!
